Who are we ?

Dual Use Power is a French company specializing in the production of mobile, resilient and sovereign energy.

We develop solutions capable of providing electricity in degraded situations, on isolated sites, in civil or military operations, without depending on a dedicated engine.

Our approach is based on a simple idea: using the mechanical energy already present on the ground - vehicles, machinery, boats, tractors - to produce reliable electricity, immediately available and with a reduced environmental footprint.

QPA Generators

QPA: Solution for DSO*. DualUsePower supports you on all your projects, even the most challenging.

DualUsePower develops QPA generators with PTO technology, designed to complement the electrical backup systems of European DSOs and support them in their Public Service obligations.
Faced with storms and prolonged power outages, these generators rely on the motive power of agricultural tractors to quickly restore power to isolated homes.

They meet the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2019/943, which mandates a safe, continuous and reliable power supply for all customers.
Some DSOs have suffered financial penalties of several hundred million euros for failing to comply with the SAIDI**/SAIFI*** indicators set by the Regulatory Commissions of the Member States.

QPA generators are transportable, can be activated on a lift or trailer, and are suitable for rural, flooded or congested areas.
They allow intervention where traditional power plants cannot reach, by utilizing underutilized agricultural land. This intelligent, agile, and complementary approach drastically reduces power outage times. DualUsePower thus offers DSOs a robust, fast, and regulatory-compliant solution.

The latest generation of powerful agricultural tractors, compliant with Stage V standards, also play a vital role alongside the DSO teams during major weather events.

In flooded or muddy areas, they allow access where conventional vehicles get bogged down, facilitating the reconstruction of networks and poles and quickly becoming indispensable to the MPRS Mobile Power Restoration System set up by the DSOs.
